TIER I
TIER I Engages best practices and a rigorous instruction for all students with well-designed differentiated teaching and learning strategies. Teacher needs to meet the individual's needs to the best of their ability.
Universal Screening is for all students. This gives you a snap shot of the students that you want to monitor more closely during the next step.
When TIER I classroom instruction is truly differentiated using a variety of strategies, fewer students are identified for TIER II.
Fidelity Check is when you invite another teacher and/or administrator to come into your classroom and watch you teach.
