Progress monitoring during TIER II.
Progress monitoring happens when you monitor the progress of certain students in a specific skill over time. Every student who receives RTI should be progress monitored.
If data indicates that progress is being made, continue with what you are doing. If data indicates that no progress is being made, begin a new intervention.
Progress monitor for at least 6 to 8 weeks before beginning a new intervention. It is important to make certain that you have given the intervention enough time to be tried.
